For employers

The Europass Language Passport is a format in which applicants can assess their own knowledge of various European languages. It is based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEF) which is widely used by language institutes.

If you ask for this document as part of an application procedure, you will have a document with which the candidate has assessed him/herself using a generally-recognised, uniform method, which makes it easier to compare candidates. The information in the document is not validated by a school or training provider.
