For diploma degree holders

The Europass Diploma Supplement is a personal document that you are given at the same time as you are awarded your degree from your college or university. All graduates are entitled to a Diploma Supplement, which is issued in your name. It is not a substitute for the degree but complements it. It translates the qualification into comparable terms at a European level and cites the title of the award, the duration of study and the number of credit points.

The Diploma Supplement is a standard description of the content, level and progress of your studies at higher vocational (HBO) or university level. It makes it easier for employers and educational institutions abroad to assess the value of your qualification. This is particularly useful if you are looking for a work placement or study place abroad or if you are abroad when applying for such a place.
